Cancellation Policy

If you ever need to cancel or reschedule a ONE-ON-ONE session for any reason, please let me know at least 6 hours in advance. Otherwise, the lesson will still be charged.

If you ever need to cancel your participation in a GROUP session for any reason, please let me know at least 12 hours in advance. Otherwise, your spot will still be charged.

One-on-One Cancellation Policy Details

First and foremost, I want you to know that I absolutely love working with my students and that I want to ensure that I am available for them as much as possible. However, I also believe that it is only fair that my time is valued as much as I value theirs. 

 

Therefore, my cancellation policy states that “if you need to cancel OR RESCHEDULE for any reason, please do so AT LEAST 6 hours in advance (or the night before, if meeting in the morning). Otherwise, the lesson will still be charged.” This means that if you can no longer meet at the scheduled time, would like to meet earlier or later on the same day, later or earlier on the same week, or even only meet for a partial amount of the time originally scheduled, you MUST let me know AT LEAST 6 hours in advance to avoid being charged for the amount of scheduled time. Otherwise, the ENTIRE amount of the original scheduled time will be charged. 

 

If you wish to reschedule, but let me know LESS than 6 hours in advance, and we agree to meet at a different time, BOTH the original scheduled time AND the new scheduled time will be charged (even if rescheduled for the same day). 

 

To avoid missed messages through the WyzAnt platform, please email me your cancellation request to isabelexplains@gmail.com. I will NOT accept “unsent WyzAnt messages” as an excuse for untimely cancellations.

 

Please know that this policy is in place to ensure that BOTH of our times are respected and valued. After all, I believe that time is more valuable than money. My mama taught me that “cuentas claras conservan amistades” (which loosely translates to “clear agreements preserve friendships”) and I would love nothing more than to have a long, lasting relationship with all my students.

Group Cancellation Policy Details

As I mentioned above, I absolutely love working with my students and I truly value the time they choose to spend learning with me. However, I also believe that it is only fair that my time and the time of the other students participating in the group sessions is valued just as much. 

 

Therefore, my cancellation policy states that if you need to cancel your participation in a group session, please do so AT LEAST 12 hours in advance. Otherwise, your spot will still be charged (even if filled by another student).

To avoid missed messages through the WyzAnt platform, please email me your cancellation request to  isabelexplains@gmail.com. I will NOT accept “unsent WyzAnt messages” as an excuse for untimely cancellations.

Students disrupting, using foul language, or making distasteful comments during the session will be removed from the session and will NOT receive a refund or partial credit for the session. Continuous disruptive behavior will result in being banned from group sessions.

Only students enrolled in the session will be allowed in such session. Participants that were not enrolled in the session (even if it's just to "watch") will be asked to leave. In the event a student refuses to remove an unenrolled participant, the student will be removed from the session and will NOT receive a refund or partial credit for the session.
